Water sports are very popular in this region of Spain, the warm climate and calm Mediterranean waters create the ideal situation for many exciting sports. What better way to have some fun, get fit and make your holiday in Spain an experience to remember.

Water Ski: We offer both traditional water skiing / wake boarding and rubber ring skiing which is more suitable for families. For the novice our trained professionals will lead you gently into the sports, guiding you every step of the way with your safety in mind at all times. For the more experienced we offer sessions and improvement courses using the lastest in equipment and high speed power boats.

Para Glide: Single and Dual para gliding experiences, get hooked up to a parachute and soar high over the ocean for a real birds eye view of the Costa del Sol coastline. Our dual parachutes also allow you to experience flight with your partner or friend, or fly solo for an unforgetable experience. We offer para gliding from our partners in Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Marbella at reduced rates when included as part of your Active getaways Holiday. All equipment is to a high standard and saftey checked before every outing, ensuring a safe and breathtaking ride.

Wind Surfing: Despite it´s name and focus, you actually require very little wind to enjoy this Sport, but the more breeze the faster and more furiuos it can be. Learn how to wind surf with our professional team and soon you will be addicted to this naturally powered sport. It requires nothing but you, the board, the ocean and the wind in your sail! It´s not as easy as it looks, so expect to get wet ! Once mastered it is a fantastic and very enviromentally friendy activity that hook's you from the start. Wind surfing is available all year round when conditions permit.

Jet Ski: Have you ever wanted to have a go on a high speed Jet Ski? Well now you can! Active getaways direct offer you the chance to learn to ride one of these much loved speed machines, It´s like riding a motorbike on water! Learn to ride with a qualified instructor and when you are ready take control and experience breathtaking speeds on water! In Spain a licence is required to drive a Jet Ski, therefore you are required to have a licenced instructor with you at all times, however once you have learned to drive you will take full control of the Ski while the instructor sits behind

Scuba diving: Enjoy the wonders of the deep, scuba diving is an addictive experience and we offer professional diving courses and expeditions to suit both the beginner and the experienced diver alike. From the age of 12 upwards you can learn to dive, gaining recognised certificates as you go. Our professional instructors can guide you from the first lesson right through to advanced level. Speed boat trips: Active getaways Direct offer speed boat charters for half day and full day excursions, or as an alternative we can offer short trips of 1 hour in a high speed vessle.
